The Official ITFC Supporters Club Committee wanted to recognise the great achievements of the Women’s team in the past two seasons which was curtailed due to Covid.
We have purchased a trophy which will be presented to the team on the first home game of the 2021/22 season.
Joe Sheehan’s team were sitting top of the league in 2019/20 and also went on an epic journey in the FA Cup and created history in becoming the first team in the 4th Tier to reach the 5th round of the competition.
Committee members Nicky Martin, Mandy Garner and Nathan Parris were there watching the team create history along the way, together with an ever increasing loyal army of fans.
In 2020/21 the team again were top of the league when the season was cut short.

Several of the teams above are in higher leagues culminating in playing against Manchester City who are one of the top teams in Women’s Super League and the defending champions who also went on to win the competition.
