Mandy is a Ipswich Branch member and is proud to have spent a career in NHS. A Town fan since her school days, Mandy is a representative for the supporters forum and great supporter of the ITFC Women’s team.
Mandy’s most memorable game was Swindon away in 1988 when she was proposed to on the terraces by her husband Peter, the game resulted in a 3-2 win with a late goal from Ipswich Town. A double victory there.
I’m 21, and my first ever town game was when we last beat Norwich. So it was 2009 and Ipswich won 3-2. Since then I’ve been going ever since. I’ve also been given the role of the drummer in the North Stand so it’s me that makes all the noise. I even take the drum to some away games!
Irene has been going to Portman Road for 76 years. She was taken to her first game by her dad as her brother was busy so there was a spare ticket. Dad had to bring a milk crate for Irene to stand onas she was too small to see what was going on.
Irene has too mnay highlights to list but one of her favourite memories was meeting Mick Mills for the first time.
I have been a Town fan for as long as I can remember. I travelled all over Europe during our UEFA Cup season watching the team, even travelling with them on the plane to Aris Salonika in the 1st round.
When we go back to crowds in the stadium, I will be a Match Day Steward in the Sir Alfred Stand in the lower disabled area. I've been there for about 6 years. I am also the regular Steward on Coach 2 if we can ever do that again. So if you see me, please say hello!
